Yummy spinach!

Try this, I loved it!

6 cups fresh spinach

In a pan add: 2 t. sesame oil, 1 t. low sodium soy sauce, 1 T sesame seeds, 1 t. fresh ginger and 1 t. garlic , 2 t. rice vinegar

Add the spinach and let steam.

Now, I love going to chinese restaurants and tasting the sweet sauce on their dishes, so what I did to the above receipe was ass 1 T. splenda to the mixture. It made the sauce fantastic!

IMPORTANT!

1 lb of fat is equivalent to 3500 calories (Information from JillianMichaels site)

So, if you wantto lose 2 lbs a week you would have to cut 1000 calories per day.
7 days x 1000 calories = 7000 calories which converts to 2 lbs


So, when you are on a diet and you chose to go off your diet and not exercise then you can see why you don't lose any weight. Even if it is just one day a week. Don't sabatoge yourself, stay on course.

Plus, if you are going to diet and exercise why not just get it done so then you can maintain?

Love Dr. Oz

People ask me a lot well how many calories should I eat, I never could give them an exact number without doing a long drawn out formula. Today on Dr. Oz he made it simple:

200 + weight x 8 + exercise

you burn 200 calories each day for your heart to work turn on light throughout the house etc. You go through out your daily doing regular chores that is your weight x 8
Then you add however many calories you exercised in that day

That are the calories to maintain. If you want to lose weight you need to drop it from there. Now, as he said, people plateau because as they lose weight they need less calories because your daily chore calorie number goes down as you lose weight. People need to adjust their calories to their weight as they are losing. Picture it this way: If you are 40 lbs overweight: it is the same as a person who is ideal weight carrying around 2 - 20lb weight as they go about doing their chores. So, with that being said, as you lose weight make sure to cut your calories to reflect the correct number to take into your body daily. Please be careful, if you figure this amount and decide to go crazy and drop your calorie count too low your body will go into starvation mode and you will not lose. It will hold every once of fat that you have.

Are you sure that pasta is worth it? I surely don't want to sweat for that long for a simply bowl of mac n chees. Really think about what you put in your body!!
